Phi Theta Kappa is now accepting applications for innovative and informative sessions covering topics from professional development to PTK best practices for our 2026 PTK Catalyst Convention in Baltimore, MD on March 26-28, 2026.
Eligibility Guidelines
- Primary Applicants: Our primary call for proposals is for Phi Theta Kappa advisors and other higher education employees. Applicants in this category must also serve as the primary presenter.
- Co-Presenters: Current members may be included as co-presenters.
- Alumni Applicants: We also welcome submissions from established Phi Theta Kappa alumni who bring relevant expertise and professional credentials. Alumni proposals are especially encouraged on topics such as AI/technology, career trends, mentorship, career preparation, personal growth, and other areas of professional development.
We are searching for a wide range of topics including but not limited to:
- Leadership Development
- Advocacy
- Career Readiness
- Professional Development
- Health and Wellness
- PTK best practices
- Membership Recruitment and Engagement
- Chapter Advisor best practices
These topics should be presented in an interactive and dynamic format. All selected presenters will be featured in official PTK Catalyst communications.
- Each educational forum is a 45-minute interactive session, including time for audience Q&A
- Each flash forum is a 25-minute interactive session, including time for audience Q&A
- You can present both a flash forum and an educational forum
Applications are open through December 10, 2025. All applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by early January 2026. A PowerPoint template will be provided later.
Confirmed presenters must register and attend PTK Catalyst 2026 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland on March 26-28, 2026.
